How we price hosting and domains, today's prices, and what may change at annual renewal. All before you sign.
How is hosting priced?
Every website or system needs different resources, so the price depends on:
Hosting type
Shared hosting for small websites, or a private (VPS) or cloud server for larger systems and stores.
Resources
Storage, memory, CPU and expected traffic.
Subscription term
Most hosting is yearly, and some servers are billed monthly.
Add-on services
Backups, SSL certificates, business email, and server management and monitoring.
Current hosting prices
Prices are in Egyptian pounds and exclude VAT.
Hosting prices depend on the size of your website or system. Contact us and we'll send you a written quote.
How are domains priced?
The extension
Each extension (.com, .net, .org, .com.eg, .sa and others) has a price set by the body that runs it.
First year vs. renewal
Registrars sometimes discount the first year, and renewal is at the regular price.
Local extensions
Such as .com.eg and .sa, which have their own requirements, documents and longer registration times.
Premium names
Some short or popular names carry special (premium) prices set by the registrar.
Current domain prices
The first-year price, and the expected renewal price if it differs.
Domain prices vary by extension. Send us the name you want and we'll tell you the price and whether it's available.
How does annual renewal work?
We remind you first
We send you a reminder and the renewal invoice well before the due date.
Price at renewal
The renewal price is the price at the time of renewal, not at the time of your first contract.
Why the price may change
Provider and registrar prices are usually in US dollars, so they move with the exchange rate and with any new fees or taxes.
If renewal is late
Hosting may be suspended, and the domain enters a grace period, then a redemption period with higher fees, after which anyone may register it.
Hosting and domain questions
Do prices include tax?
No. If you request a tax invoice, the legally applicable VAT is added.
Whose name is the domain registered in?
Yours or your company's, where the registrar allows it, and we hand over its management details to you.
Can I move my hosting or domain to another provider?
Yes, once any amounts due are paid, and we help you with the transfer steps.
Are fees refunded if I cancel?
Domain fees are non-refundable after registration, and hosting fees are non-refundable after activation, because they are paid to providers in advance.
Who is responsible for backups?
The client, unless we agree on a backup service as part of the plan.
